Last week I was in my local Lidl and they were offering their 450W 500mm
blade hedge trimmer for half price (£18). My very old B&D had given up
the ghost earlier this year so it seemed a reasonable time to get a
replacement. I don't have a lot of use for it (trimming a hedge 15m long
and 1.5m high once or twice a year), so only time will tell if it's a
good purchase or not. They had about half-a-dozen available but they
might not be around too long at that price.

Well the farmer whose land surrounds mine does the OUTSIDE of MOST of
the EXTERNAL hedges.

I can no longer do the internal ones myself however.
