Stokes and Root have decided to skip the 2024 IPL.
Probably at this time for England this is a good thing to happen.
Playing against the best world players is great for experience and
development if you are an emerging player but if you are already one
of the best it's 'strictly commercial'.
(I don't suppose anyone spotted the Frank Zappa connection)
