I probably won't be watching the news, either. It's awful, but what can
I do about it?

Christmas Dinner in a hotel will be hard enough knowing that folks are
dying in Gaza through starvation.

But I didn't start that war.

Nor am I involved. I am pretty much a pacifist (except for defence of
the undefended).

Callous?

Maybe.

But at least, honest.

If I could wave my magic wand and stop all the hardships in the world I
would. But unfortunately my magic wand needs recharging, and I can't
find a magic wand recharging point. Boodly government underfunding!
