Any Sheddi unforgets them?

Mostly liquorice, but they had an ashtray, pipe, and cigarettes in a
packet. Probably based on Liquorice Allsorts.

Use to get them regularly for birthdays and Christmas stocking fillers,
and neither of my parents were smokers!!

Not the smokers' kits - never came across those. But the sweet cigarettes on
their own were a flavourite of mine. I wonder whether tobacco companies were
behind them.

Nice softish liquorice IIRC. Back in the days when smerking was good for

You can still get the pipes.
Mind you for that price (£1 Ea for 5)they wouldn't be a regular thing,
just for that Nostalgia hit.

I do not remember the pipes. The cigarette sweets yes, but they were too
sweet for my taste. My brother was a real sugar addict (tea with his
sugar). I can still remember him stubbing out the butts as if he has
been smoking all his life. In fact he has never graduated (70 years
later) to real tobacco cigarettes.

OTOH I did smoke cigarettes and then graduated to a pipe a little later,
for a few years in my youff.

Yep. I only saw them at Christmas (not too sure of the symbolism
involved here) - much like those Orange and Lemon slices covered in sugar.
