These have turned up as a casual in my garden, but I have no idea
how they got here. Any ideas?

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.

50-60 years ago ao old biddy in our street created an incident for
growing 'weed' in her garden. It turned out she always tipped the unused
bird seed from her canary/budgie in that spot.

Yes, but what puzzled me is that I haven't done that, and Nicotiana
seed isn't normally eaten by birds. At least not UK ones.

Nick Maclaren.

Odd. We've got a couple of nicotiana that just appeared. I don't know
the genus well enough to know if it's suavolens.

And we're only about half an hour from Cambridge.
