Having been away to the Hebrides for a holiday where everything was
decidedly green and moist, coming back to East of England the grass on
lawns still seems to be recovering.

Does anyone else have lawns that are still brown?
Ours seems to finally be growing out in most areas, but still has
significant brown areas.

Cheers

Most of my brown bits have started turning green, in fact in places it
looks as if I made need to do a late mow, it is getting long in places.
Forecast is possibility of frost tonight, so I will wait and see.

SE Essex my lawn has just turned back to full green and started to grown
again. I cut it on Friday which was the first time in around in 12
weeks. The cut was just to roughly even off the lawn as a quarter of it
which is out of the sun for long periods recovered much quicker.

My last mow last year was late November/early December as the mild
weather up to that point allowed the grass to grow quite quickly.
