That's the message I get from Chromium after binge watching a box set
on UKTV Play. It adds "Something went wrong while disaplaying the web
page" Error Code: SIGILL. and invites me to reload.

Only happens about once per day but I lose my place.

Just wondering why?

This is probably the wrong forum.

I apologise in advance to anyone whose feelings are hurt.

It is possible but unlikely.
When it(the browser) finally decides to return control,
I restart it in situ.
The other applications continue to run without halting.

Well even my Samsung tv which gets updates sometimes comes up and says, this
page contains the following errors, then when you go away and come back its
fine again. Then there is the really annoying ducking of sound if a
commercial comes in as AD is speaking, not to mention that some streamed
channels lose sound altogether when adverts appear, needing you to go up and
down the channels again to start things working again. I don't believe any
software driven TVs do not sometimes throw wobbliest, Indeed I'd only had
the set a few months when it stopped announcing channels. I rang the
helpline who transferred my to Korea where a very pleasant lady took my
serial number and went into the tv over the internet and uploaded something
then did a restart and it worked again. They must know these quirks exist
yet they still sell the tvs and bodge them up later over the internet. They
have recently made Youtube speak which is quite good. Brian

SIGILL means the program attempted to execute an illegal instruction.

There are two likely candidates for this:
- The program is a pile of <expletive of choice>
- The memory on your computer is beginning to fail.

The program is fine.
The memory doesn't fail anything else.
So what are the unlikely candidates? :)
