Anyone having problems with the BT YouView box Apps not working so not
getting iPlayer, UKTVplay with it.

Will try a reset later, when I remember how to do it.

Thanks, I will do a reset shortly and see if that has any effect.

No issues on mine.

ITVx & YouView are not doing favours with unclear information littered
around the net, what is the difference between ITV Hub and ITVx anyway?

My guess why there could be issues

- YouView has it's own TV guide app that offers hyperlinks into Apps
from TV companies. Maybe the links don't work for ITVx.

- ITVx are using some new content protection scheme incompatible with
early YouView boxes

- ITVx are seeking monetization options not available in YouView software.

Pure conjecture...

One 'feature' that I often see with the BT YouView box is that when I
switch on, a channel will have no sound. Change up a channel then back
down and it is OK again.

It reliably falls apart just before an important match. It's something
we plan for.
