This has to be a case of where the boss/leader acted quickly and in a manner
fitting the occasion.

That's not the point. There is a senior member of the current Labour
caucus who thought his social media post was appropriate, and his
Leader thought that this was no more than a mistake fixed by deleting
it.

I would have thought that Hipkins might have thought this action
merits removal from the Labour Caucus. Perhaps Labour in opposition
think that this is simply the way the opposition is expected to behave
now. Perhaps Hipkins is demonstrating that he does not have what it
takes to get Labour back in government.

Perhaps Labour needs another electoral cycle to change perceptions
left over from the 2017-2023 governments.

Absolutely, Crash - if they haven't learned from the political
wizardry of Dirty tricks and now the NZ Taxpayer Union mad all its
offshoot propaganda sites, and able to coordinate devastating
political attacks through social media, you have to ask whether they
are worth having in government ever - gross social media should always
be unable to get attributed to those lovely people in Power; how can
you govern a country if you cannot destroy those you do not agree
with. Being civilised or nice is for losers - Right!, Crash?

Yes indeed. That is the issue, but then Labour do not easily hold their people
to account, history tells us so.

What a perfect example of how not to use sarcasm. Childish, petulant and
completely off topic.

All political rhetoric as usual Rich. This thread is about the
behaviour of a senior Labour MP and the clearly-tarnished reputation
of Labour MPs. Your response mentioned nothing relevant to this.
