Position - Snowflake Data Architect
Location - Remote (Only EST Time zone candidates )

Responsibilities:

· Design and develop data architectures that encompass various databases (SQL or NoSQL).

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

· Lead the implementation of data mesh technology (query engines, semantic layers, data catalog) to create a scalable and decentralized data ecosystem.

· Design and implement data architectures leveraging Edge-based Distributed Data Systems

· Develop and maintain best practices and standards for data architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and software engineers to implement the solution.

· Design and optimize data models to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies, including data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of data architecture and BI.

· Identify opportunities to enhance existing data architectures and continuously improve processes and systems.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

· Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) as a Data Architect or in a similar role.

· Strong expertise in designing solutions with various databases (SQL or NoSQL) and query engines.

· In-depth understanding of data mesh principles and experience implementing data mesh technology in real-world scenarios.

· Good understanding and experience with Edge-based Distributed Data Systems

· Hands-on experience with designing and implementing BI reporting and analytics solutions.

· Proficient in data modeling techniques and tools.

· Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data requirements.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Self-motivated and proactive in staying updated with the latest advancements in data architecture and BI technologies.
