Mornin' from another dry, hot, bright and sunny day in South
Yorkshire. It was quite misty/hazy early on but since around 08:30 it
has again been an all blue sky and BYT beaming down at us all.
Temperature out there is 24.8C (76.6F) with the barometric pressure
steady again at 1015.6 mB and RH showing as 47% and falling quite
quickly. Forecast is for the temperature to peak at 28C (82.4F) in the
mid-afternoon and then to cool to an overnight low of 14C (57.2F).
There should be lots of sun this afternoon but there a 60% chance of
heavy thunder-storms around tea-time. A stedy cooling breeze of around
7 mph from the SE should help us to remain comfortable. Enjoy another
superb summer's day but take care and stay safe everyone.
Sootie was up and out well before breakfast at around 06:00 but
returned around 08:30 to wake me up, to get her something to eat.
She's now settled for the day under the slightly ajar bay window in her
bedroom. It seems to be her favourite cool spot these days. Tabby was
here twice yesterday for tea and supper. Not seen her yet today though.

Good morning from Somerset.
84F and 1014mb. It has been bright sunshine ever since I woke up this
morning and there is a nice breeze blowing. It is forecast to cloud
over for an hour or so during late afternoon without dropping any rain
near me.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim
