Mornin' from a dry, mild, bright, sunny but very gusty day here in
South Yorkshire. We have had BYT striving to warm us up since dawn but
that p to 30 mph gusty cooling wind from the SW is keeping the
temperature down. Temperature out there is 10C (50F) with the
barometric pressure falling rapidly at 1025.4 mB and RH showing as 81%.
Forecast is for the temperature to remain at 10C (50F) but feeling more
like 7C (44.6F) all day and overnight with an overcast sky. Enjoy your
day but make sure that you take care and stay safe.
Sootie had a lie in this morning and didn't rise from her bed until
around 09:30. She had a quick breakfast and was out and off on her
rounds by 09:40. Tabby was out there waiting but showing too much
attention to an irate chatting male blackbird strutting too an fro along
the fence about 2 metres away from her. I put out her breakfast for
her, and after only a couple of mouthfuls she was off annoying the
blackbird. Sootie returned after about 10 minutes and came indoors to
snooze on her bed and Tabby and the irate blackbird both disappeared.
Around 80% of Tabby's breakfast was also left behind.
