Mornin' from a very wet, cold, overcast, misty, dark, dull and
dismal day here in South Yorkshire. It has been raining continuously
since well before dawn with the temperature out there at 9C (48.2F) but
feeling much more like 6C (42.8F) with the up to 40 mph gusty winds from
the south. The barometric pressure is plummeting at 996.9 mB and RH
showing as 99%. Forecast is for much of the same 'til the early
evening, when the clouds should roll away to show a clear sky.
Temperature should peak at 12C (53.6F) but feeling like 8C (46.4F) in
the afternoon and then cool down to an overnight low of 8C (46.4F) but
feeling like 4C (39.2F). Make the most of your day, take care and
maintain your's and other's safety.
Sootie had another long lie in 'til well after 10:00. She
breakfasted at 10:30 and went out, only to return within 10 minutes to
stretch out on bed and cancel the rest of the day. Tabby was here just
before midnight for a large supper but hasn't yet returned for any
breakfast.
