Mornin' from a wet, wet, wet, cold, overcast, dull, dark, dismal and
gusty day here in South Yorkshire. Continuous heavy rain here since
well before dawn. Temperature out there is 5C (41F) but feeling more
like 1C (33.8F) in the gusty cooling winds from the SSE. Barometric
pressure is falling quickly at 1002.1 mB with the RH at 94%. Forecast
is for it to stay raining and overcast all day without a break.
Temperature will peak at 10C (50F) in the late afternoon and then fall
to an overnight low of 6C (42.8F) but feeling more like 2C (35.6F).

Sootie came downstairs for breakfast around 09:00 and went out with
my verbal instructions to "be quick". Such an obedient cat. 5 seconds
dash up the jungle to her favourite spot for no more than 15 seconds,
the another very quick dash back to the kitchen window ledge. There's
no chance of her being caught out in that weather!!! 5 minutes later
she was stretched out in front of the fire toasting her ample tummy.
Then, would you believe it? Tabby arrived on the kitchen window ledge
and had some breakfast too. --
Heard messages are sweet but those Unheard are sweeter.
