Ah'ernoon from a cold, wet, wet, wet, overcast, dark, dull, dreary
and dismal day here in South Yorkshire. Had to visit the dentist early
and afterwards just went for a 10 mile drive just to monitor the
weather. Went through falling snow, sleet, very slight sleet and just
rain at different locations. Temperature out there is now 4C but
feeling more like 0C with the, up to 20 mph, gusty winds from the South
Yorkshire. Forecast is for much the same until late afternoon when
some of sky should and we should get some brief sunny periods. Then a
chance of more precipitation throughout the evening and overnight.
Temperature should peak at 5C feeling like 2C with the gusty wind around
mid-afternoon and then gradually cool to an overnight low of 3C but
feeling more like 0C. Keep warm, take care and stay safe everyone.
Sootie was up and breakfasted by 08:15 but flatly refused to go out.
After an hour moping about miserably whilst looking out at the weather,
she retired to my bed and has obviously cancelled the rest of the day.
Tabby had supper late yesterday evening and as I'd guessed hasn't made
an appearance yet today.
