Mornin' from another wet! wet! wet! cold, overcast, dim, dull, dark,
dismal and depressing day here in South Yorkshire. Temperature out
there is 5C, feeling much more like in the up to 25 mph gusty wind from
the South East. Barometric pressure, flowing it's recent plummet, has
increased and now steadied at 991.3 mB with RH at 95% and rising slowly.
Forecast is for the rain to ease off in the late afternoon with a 10%
chance of BYT peeping out briefly. The evening should be overcast again
but dry. Temperature will peak at 6C, more like 3C in the early
afternoon and remain at that until the early evening when it will start
gradually falling to the overnight low of 2C more like 0C. Keep warm
and take great care to stay everyone.
Sootie up, breakfasted and out by 09:15, despite the persistent
rain. She returned at a dash and steered straight into her kennel.
Tabby was here overnight for a meal he'll but I doubt she'll be back
today. I activated Sootie's tracker at 10:30 and Sootie was out of her
kennel, up onto the outside window ledge and into the dining room in
less than 5 seconds flat!!!

Good afternoon from Somerset.
I am still around! 39F and 991mb.
I woke this morning to see snow everywhere. It wasn't more than a
quarter of an inch thick, but it wasn't forecast this far south so it
was a surprise. It has now thawed off the roads and houses but there is
still a small amount lingering on the cars that the sun hasn't reached.

A good day for staying indoors!
Jim

No snow but we just had a cloudburst while the sun shone!
