Mornin' from a very wet and sodden day here in South Yorkshire.
Judging from the size of all the, we must have had lots of rain
overnight. There's no rain falling at the moment and there are a few
blue spaces between the clouds allowing BYT to get to grips with his job
of warming us up. Temperature out there is 6.6C but feeling more like
4.5C with the gusty, up to 40 mph from the WNW. Barometric pressure is
falling at 1001.1 mB and the RH is showing as 80% Forecast is for both
showers and sunny periods for the next couple of hours when the chance
of further rain will cease. Temperature will peak at 9C, more like 4C,
in the mid-afternoon and then cool to an overnight low of 6C, feeling
more like 1C.
Sootie was up, breakfasted and out by 09:00 when it was still
raining, but being brave she has stayed out. Most likely sheltering in
her cat kennel. No sign of Tabby today or yesterday but the meal I left
out for her had all been eaten, leaving a clean saucer behind.
