You would have thought they had learnt their lesson after one of their
services was stranded near Waterloo during the summer when the
passengers had to break the windows to survive.

I presume they consider it too dangerous for employees to walk though
the train to communicate with the passengers when the PA is not working.
Employees should have been passing through the train regularly though
the train to check on the passengers and to evacuate any if necessary.

I don't know that the was like in Kent but it rose no higher than 3C
here today so it must have been bloody cold on the train.

I don't know that the weather was like in Kent but it rose no higher
than 3C here today so it must have been bloody cold on the train. The
only warm person I saw today was an infant snug in their showsuit
enjoying the funfair but not their frozen minders.
