I found this geography quiz harder than the vintage objects one. Again, it
has an American bias, and the questions vary from ridiculously easy to
obscure.

https://www.exploredhistory.com/discovery/only-5-of-the-population-can-score-100-on-this-geography-quiz-how-well-do-you-know-the-world/

This was my disappointing score:

You scored 33 out of 42 Retry
YOU’RE ABOVE AVERAGE!
You scored better than the majority of people on this test, even though
you’re not exactly a geographer. Some of the trickier questions stumped
you, but overall, you nailed it!

Oof, 27. With a handful of "dammit, I knew I should have clicked that",
but I was always terrible at Geography.

I will grumble a bit about the US-centrictness though. My knowledge of US
missile silos is limited, and I can't help thinking the only people who
think Toledo has contributed more to the art of glassmaking than Venice
would be yanks... "World Capital of Glass" my arse.

And you and I perhaps among the most travelled of this group.

I actually managed to guess the missile silo, but was surprised not to see
Murano offered as an answer to the glass question.

Only 30. I had never heard of some of the places in the Americas.

36/42

There are some strange descriptions in that quiz: The Pacific Sea...
South Atlantic Sea; and a couple of island entries labelled as being
"in a continent".
