For some reason I "lost" this group. Looking for the correct name I found
<https://yarchive.net/comp/bsd.html>, an article by (assumingly) Dennis
Ritchie (who sadly passed away 2011 already) from 2000.

Dang! I read the usenet since around 1996, but not this group back then.

Anyway, got 220,000 articles to read for this group. Catching up... ;-)
