Hello,

a half year ago - but I first discovered it today - the Google Toolbar
has been discontinued. I don't remember that Google really cared about
it after Chrome was the most used browser.

You may remember that piece of software as an Adware that was installed
by many freeware installers - especially Adobe Flash.
They discontinued their Firefox addon in ~2011, 10 years later they
also discontinued their Active X addon for IE, IE is also being
deprecated and not installed in current Windows versions by default, so
the amount of users was low and continuously sinking.
