The new Delphi IDE editor sometimes does something weird.

It would not be a bad idea to have some kind of key logger.

So that it logs all keys so that I can replay what happened.

Maybe an entire replay feature to see what happened.

But at least a log might shine some sun light on it.

What actually happened in RAD Studio 12 is some line of text went green ?! and then there was another green line, it seemed to match the code/variable name... maybe this is some kind of high lighting feature/key combination.... after switching windows it disappeared... maybe it was a editor display bug ?!

Anyway...

Collecting key presses and maybe even mouse clicks is not such a big deal, at least the key presses is not a big deal.

24 hours x 60 minutes x 400 characters per minute = roughly 600 kilobytes max.

Would be nice to have this somewhat...

Cause there have been occasions where something weird happens in the editor..

Granted I could just install a generic key logger.

But still....

With a replay feature it would actually make sense to do this... so I can see exactly what happened.

Bye for now,
Skybuck.
