From PortableFreeware

"Pixia is a powerful raster graphics editor with a unique user interface.. It includes various photo filters, brushes, layers, text and broad file format support. Note that the program has a fairly unique interface so, when learning Pixia, it's easier to discard everything you know about other editors like Photoshop or Paintshop and start from scratch with the tutorials and help files."

"Pixia 32–bit is developed more than Pixia 64–bit. All essential features are the same on both, but there are more add–ons and extensions for Pixia 32–bit at this time. If you'd like to install both, you can do so! Pixia v.6 64–bit can be installed indendently as a seperate program alongside with Pixia v.6 32–bit and Pixia v.4."

Updated to Version 6.61p (64-bit) and Version 6.61j (32-bit)

Always wanted to try this program out. IME software from Japan is
quality stuff. Much like German software. This program has been around
for a long time and is very actively maintained.
________________________________________________________________________
System Requirements

- Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 (32–bit and 64–bit) – Pixia v.4 and v.5.
- Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 (32–bit and 64–bit) – Pixia 32–bit v.6.
- Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10 (64–bit only) – Pixia 64–bit v.6.
- This does not guarantee that all the functions will work in every
environment.
- There can be exceptions due to numerous combinations of drivers,
devices, etc.
- Not less than 32 megabytes of RAM (As much as possible).
- Super VGA monitor (with the screen resolution set to at least 800 x 600).
- High Color or True Color (16–bit/24–bit/32–bit). Pixia does not work
in 16 or 256 color environments.
- Optional: Pressure sensitive tablets (Wacom, Yutron, etc.)

Maybe when I (shudder, puke) update this computer to W10. I guess the
cold day in hell has finally arrived.

John C. No ad, CD, cripple, demo, nag, pay, pirated, share, spy,
time-limited, trial or web wares for me please.

So that I don't see them, I filter out crossposts (messages sent to
multiple newsgroups at a time) and from various trolls. If you do the
same, the group will be easier for you to read.
