Hi.
Now, when probably not doing any more work with VMS,
I'm cleaning out my office. One one shelf I found some
book related to VMS. Some was ditched at once, like ref
guides for DEC- and Oracle-Fortran from the 80s/90s...

But what about these below?
Anyone interested can contact me directly.
Also interested in messages saying "throw them away!". :-)

Shipping world-wide (trackable) will be
1 Kg: $16 USD.
2 Kg: $22 USD.

Weights below are rouned up to 1 or 2 Kg.
For multiple books, just ask and I'll check.

- Rdb. Hobbs, Smith, England. Third edition.
Fairly modern (-99 timeframe) Rdb 7/8.
1 Kg.

- WASD. OSU, Apache on VMS.
Alan Winston.
1 Kg.

- Writing Real Programs in DCL.
Anagnostopoulos, Hoffman. Second edition.
1 Kg.

Then these from the series "The minimum you need to know..."
Roland Huges
- ... about Logic to Work in IT. 1 Kg.
- ... about Service Oriented Arhitecture. 1 Kg.
- ... to be an OpenVMS Application Programmer. 2 Kg.

Regards,
Jan-Erik.

Harsh - every DEC publication is sacred, good homes, libraries, and
computer museums, should be found for all of them!

To paraphrase a Boromir LoTR meme - "One does not simply retire from a
lifetime of VMS dedication."

Is there a computer museum in Sweden that would be interested ?

Many computer museums try to gather documentation, not just hardware.

Simon.

Walking destinations on a map are further away than they appear.

It's not lack of interest, or high shipping cost - but I already own the
two books I would have applied for otherwise :-)

Right... They will probably just go back into the paper recycling bag.

No time to investigate further.

supermarket or something?
