Looking at the generated assembly code, having four fields and
putting more bits into them would have been a better choice.

I didn't say best, or favorite, rather the most famous, or 'solo'
rather than riff.

For solo, I have Comfortably Numb at the top of the list. There
are a couple of Dream Theater songs with great solos, too.

Which makes sense, since it was based on the previous most famous
riff, Beethoven's Fifth (which is arguably the most recognizable
piece of classic music).
