Just another datum, on my fifth-generation iPad (model number MP21H2LL/A),
I updated to iPadOS 16.7.3 with no issues the moment I had seen Ant's post.

Just curious why you'd want to get any other version but the "latest"
available to you, which for older devices is something less than iOS 17.
