Does iOS have a native app to perform a video capture of my iPhone screen
so I can demonstrate how to do something? I’d like to do that and send it
by either email or iMessage to my mother. Also can I take a screenshot of a
certain moment of the video capture?

In settings go to Control Center. One of the options is screen recording,
which you can add to your control center from there. Then when you want to
record what is on your screen, you just access the control center, hit the
record button and it should do what you want.

If you want it to record your voice as well as the screen, hold the record
button down while in control center. It should give you an option to turn
the microphone off or on.

It’s not just for me, it’s for others to learn new things too. It’s called
sharing information. I’ll bet there were a few who never knew about that
capability. Not everyone is an expert like you are.

What’s the matter? Are you upset that someone else demonstrated knowledge
and a capacity to help which you don’t have?

Why is it only Apple newsgroups have this problem and not others?
