diskpart list shows only the main drive (0)
I got a fried usb awanna fix
but it does the same with a good usb

USB drives cannot be detected, unless the storage part receives enough power.

USB flash key 5V @ 100mA to 200mA

SSD drive on USB3 adapter 5V @ 500mA to 700mA

Toshiba laptop drive on USB 5V @ 1000mA (spinup current) requires a two-headed cable

The devices seldom have documentation which mentions
the amount of power required.

A USB2 dual-stack can be fitted with a 1.1A Polyfuse (on the motherboard).
But this is not usually enough for the laptop drive example.

It is rare for USB adapters to have barrel power jack inputs
for a wall adapter. Normally, larger enclosures come with
proper power.
