I KNOW this is digging up a zombie thread but I was just gifted a Lazarus moment by a fellow collector that found something very special on an ex Apple employee's old Profile he had laying around.......

We HAVE drivers for the UniFile AND DuoFile!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish my card wasn't absconded off with out of Tony's estate... Dang. And all we had to work with was Disk #2 of the 4 disk set of Uni/DuoFile utilities disks from apple that I found on Ebay and bought ONE for 80 bucks.

I'm now wondering if these cards were also sold by the guy that sold the floppies. We never had the drivers... Tony and I were really close to getting read to work we thought a couple nights before he passed. The motor was activating at least!

But yeah, does anyone have this Apple /// card still and have a Twiggy drive to test with? At this time I'll provide these drivers to only those willing to help in the quest and might have the means to pull it off. Once things are figured out, I'll upload them to archive.org or what not. These drivers were just found and gotten to me at 9:45pm CST on 4/1/2023 and it is def NOT a April Fools joke.

Thanks all!

If you were able to get Tony's attention for that length of time, my hat is
off to you. In my experience he was inside an event horizon from which no
communication or matter ever escaped.

Tony and I worked on the Focus card Apple /// driver (seems like
yesterday, I guess it was a few years ago now), including him having
shipped me a physical drive and I shipped it back when done.
https://github.com/david-schmidt/FocusDrive3

I was really hopeful this would lead to more engagement with the
community, so I jumped at the chance when he presented it to me.

Back on the Uni/Duo Controller - I'm looking forward to disassembling it
and adding it to the driver project that gets attention sometimes:
