White Castle is one of those mysteries to me. It seems they were really
not that successful outside of the US, and I never have been to one
because of that.

They aren't the best hamburger by any stretch of the imagination, but
they are distinctive and a lot of us grew up with them ordering dozens
at a time, since they were really cheap. I think they were like 10
cents each. Maybe five cents. Any time I go back east I always make it
a point to order a bunch of them. The frozen ones are OK, but there's
nothing like fresh.

If you should find yourself with an opportunity to go to one, I
recommend going. It's worth trying once in your life. But it's not
worth a special trip to the U.S.
