At a nursing home and rehab facility, a 61 year old man was using a
laundry machine. A 71 year old man was upset by this, punched the man
till he fell, then beat him to death with his own walker. Staff tried to
intervene, then tried to help the victim.

Also interesting is how this case is an implicit argument against old-age or even failing-health parole, doncha think?

There used to be a regular poster to this group who advocated for clemency
for elderly people for anything they may have done, including first-degree
murder, simply because they are old. Elderly people shouldn't be put on
trial, shouldn't be imprisoned, shouldn't be executed, no matter what. I
may be oversimplifying his position, but I don't think so, because I never
recall him putting any limits or boundaries on it, and believe me, I tried
to get him to. I don't know whether 71 is old enough to qualify, though.
He usually got going on this cause when the subject was in their 90s.

I remember his name, but I'm not saying it right now.
