Well now, I reckon I spy a few missing commas in them there
compound sentences. Yup, a compound sentence is made up of two or
more independent clauses, and when those clauses are joined by a
coordinating conjunction (like "and", "but", "or", "nor", "so",
or "yet"), you gotta put a comma before that doggone conjunction.

Both sentences are sayin' the same dang thing, more or less - that
the person oughta high-tail it outta there and buy a train ticket
to who-knows-where, before they find themselves in a real pickle.

The only itty-bitty difference is that "wherever" and
"anywhere" got a smidge of a different flavor to 'em.
"Wherever" kinda implies the destination's a bit of a
mystery, while "anywhere" suggests the location don't much
matter, so long as it gets 'em away from where they're at.

Too many "get"s. "in" -> "into" (though people say that). They mean the
same, but 2 is less colloquial than 1.
