So, I got to wondering? Our drug problems here are a big deal, on
Fakes News. But, that doesn't tell you how we stack up, across the whole
nation. I've posted about the governor's study, that says we need more
treatment beds for drug rehabilitation. No surprise there.

Here's how we stack up against other states.

I assume Texas doesn't need as many treatment beds because they're
still using "the war on drugs", crime and punishment model. That works
just great--for the politicians. Spend a lot of money, and create a lot
of headlines, while the situation just gets worse.

I'm not surprised that our state government is moving slowly. It
was designed to move slowly. But, at least they're headed in the right
direction.

If your blow buddy Biden would shut down the border and enforce the laws on
the books, the situation would not worsen anywhere… Texas or even The
Garden of Oregon.
