Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Yield: 4 servings

1/3 c Butter Or Regular Margarine
3 Ts Unbleached Flour
1 1/2 c Milk; Heated
1 c Cheddar; Sharp, Shredded
1 c Ham; Cooked, Diced
1 TB Onion Flakes
2 c Potatoes; Cooked, Sliced
1 TB Parsley; Minced

Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees F. Butter a 2-qt casserole and set aside.

Melt the 3 TB of butter in a 2-quart saucepan, on moderate heat, and
add the flour; cooking for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the
milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add the cheddar
cheese and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the
ham and onion flakes. Stir in 1 cup of potato slices. Pour into the
prepared casserole. Arrange the remaining potato slices on the top
of the Ham mixture. Melt the remaining butter and brush on the
potato slices. Sprinkle with the minced parsley and bake for 20
minutes or until heated through. Serve hot.

Serves: 4-6 Prep Time: 5 Min. Cook Time: 50-75 Mins (Time could be longer or shorter depending on the potato slice)

- 3 Large Russet Potatoes (Peeled and Sliced into Rounds- can be thin or thick)
- 2 Cups Heavy Cream
- 1 Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Ranch Packet (Optional)
- 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded (1 Bag) + A little more for the top if you choose..
- 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- 1 Tsp Mustard Powder (Optional)
- 1 Tbsp Cajun Season or Seasoned Salt (Add more to taste if necessary)
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp White Pepper (Optional)
- Black Pepper to Taste
- Parsley for Garnish

....to which we add ham, cubed prosciutto and some bacon bits..

I've had that casserole in mind for a few days now. The only real
difference is I would sprinkle the top layer with breadcrumbs.

I thought that I had explained that when I talked about the nymshifting
trolls who have come to accept the fact that they are complete fucking
losers that no one is interested in hearing from so they create new user
names. Then they use the new names to reply and quote their idiocy in
the hopes that it will get past filters. It's really pretty sad for
them. They think it is a pretty clever trick but it serves more to
demonstrate that they no what losers they are.
