Boris Johnson told the Privileges Committee that “hand on heart I did not
lie to the House” over partygate as MPs probe whether he deliberately
misled Parliament.

He also said that social drinks in Number 10 that he attended were a
necessary part of work and it would be “utterly insane” for the committee
to find he lied to the Commons.

It comes after a 110-page dossier of evidence was released, with claims
from an unnamed No10 official that Mr Johnson “had the opportunity to shut
down" lockdown gatherings in Downing Street but “allowed the culture to
continue”.

In his appearance before the committee the former prime minister argued
the evidence shows he did not intentionally mislead Parliament - saying he
told Parliament Covid rules were followed at all times in No10 in “good
faith”.

### - yeah, yeah, blah blah blah... WE believe you boris - tho' 1000's
wouldn't haha :)))

oh boy was his ASS in a sling today or wot?? LOL !

126 penalty tickets were issued by police to people in No.10! (126 ffs!)
including boris AND the present prime minister for breaking covid
distancing rules at the time!!!

and 126 penalties can't ALL be wrong??? (was also THE highest amount of
such penalties issued to ANY one place of business or whatever in the land
- to No.10 fucking downing street!)

so he DIDN'T come across too good pleading innocence!

looks bad for the boris, even tho' he obtained THE highest paid lawyer in
the land?

his political life now entirely hangin' in the balance...

thumbs up/down...

place yer bets! :D
