I recently came across a video analysis of how Wikipedia ended up with the name of a non-existent/confused Dark Age 'king of Greece' at the head of their list of Gwent kings. Nothing novel for the experienced medieval genealogist, but it will provide an instance of how such confusion can arise and how these questions can be investigated.
