So it appears some of us, or all, have to click the Recaptcha box now.
However using Chrome it does not properly give the Continue prompt and so just keeps signing out.

I switched to Firefox and the Recaptcha works properly allowing me to post.

Just an FYI in case others are seeing this same behaviour

its supposed to stop the spam bots. it did for a while but theyve quickly found a way round it,
either manually entering their posts or posting from some other source than google. Plus
they using western characters in english now and branched away from gambling to make
it more difficult to report. They really dont like google groups do they!

yep me too. but using firefox hasnt cured it. had to switch to a cp with windows 11 [ugh]
to get the continue button.

i spose it was meant to stop the spam bots but it seems they quickly found
another way round it, or are posting not through google anymore.

It now includes a picture competition thing as well, so google is trying belatedly
to protect groups. but its still getting through if not in the same amount.
