You may need Facebook to see this. A lot of techniques here I've never seen before. The router jigs are very cool. I wish I had the stones to create planks with a chainsaw, a jig, and an aluminum ladder.

A couple of things stood out to me. With all of the handmade fixtures
I was really surprised to see the Leigh FMT Pro. That's half the cost
of a Shaper and workstation.

He was also using compressed air to blow off sawdust, causing more of
a mess to clean up and great for the lungs, too.

I did not see an actual FMT Pro, I did see something that looked similar
that resembled an FMT.

I would be concerned with how long the log/lumber had to dry, if al all.

Yep. He placed the planned planks on stickers, but it's not clear how long they were there.

I would say they needed 2 years minimum on the large pieces. And FWIW
wood that has been sitting and drying typically has checks/splits on the
end of the boards and these had not been squared up to remove those
issues. I saw none.

I was in a large furniture store this weekend and saw a huge piece of
furniture, 4' x 5' x 16'. It was made out of large planks and ALL of
the joints were open because the wood dried and shrunk after assembly.
