Given that it was designed in the 1950s, it's unlikely that a splitter
was available.

There are several after-market overhead guards that might be adaptable to
that saw.

There was a splitter AND GUARD on mine and it was a lot older than a
6200 - a CS3200. They stopped making the 3200 in 1953 - a year after
I was born.
It was a great "little" table saw.
