Hi all, in our application, if we encounter images with non-square pixels, ie. the row and column pixel spacing differ, we will stretch the image and write a square pixel spacing value, for instance with a 512*512 (x*y) image with Pixel Spacing 2\1 we would receive 512*1024 image with pixel spacing 2\2.
I just wanted to verify if this is correct, but I couldn't find anything the standard about the display behaviour in such a case. I presume it doesn't matter strictly speaking as the measurements will still be correct, but the end result is usually better when normed for the aspect ratio.
