Hello,

In the past we had feedback from some customers that watching DICOM MPEG4 video starts very slow. This is due to the fact that the Moov Atom is using our transfer syntax 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.102 MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 High Profile / Level 4.1 or
1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.103 MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 BD-compatible High Profile / Level 4.1 transferred videos is at the end of the file, but cannot be moved to the front for performance reasons during realtime encoding.
My question:
What about the PACS Viwer support for MPEG4 nowadays? Will there still be
1. progressive download
2. complete download
3. real streaming technologies (e.g. via RTMP)
Used?

With only 1, moving would bring a gain. With 2 the change as well as so does not help and with 3 the change is not necessary.

Karsten
