Mixmaster is not designed to send attachments.

It can be done, but it is difficult and unreliable.

thread on this subject.

I wish I could find it, but I imagine it is archived somewhere.Lots of
practical tips.

It has to do with the capabilities of the exit remailer and what sizes
they accept.

The thread had some good suggestions.

I tried everything and never got anything to to send.

It will work, and yes there are some issues. The issue is MIME, or rather
absence of it. This is what the received data could look like and you may
need to use a base64 converter to get the output. This is a very small 5K
image file. A lot of email winds up in spam folders because of .SPF
records that don't match the sender.

You can send attachments using the original QS quite reliably as long as
they are not too large for the exit remailer.

This remailer has a 10MB message size yet is unlikely to deliver because
of exit limits.

MIME can inflate the basic size of the message to ridiculous increases,
sometimes double.

Frell - Maximum message size: 1024 kB
Banana - Maximum message size: 100 kB
Dizum - Maximum message size: 64 kB <- Dizum is the most common exit, so
if your MIME encoded message exceeds 64 kB, it's not going to be
delivered. Most ordinary email messages with no graphics are a bit larger
than 30 kB, so not much room to work with for attachments. You might be
able to manage a 10-15 kB attachment.

Send the email below with a valid email address to get remailer
capabilities. Example below is for frell.

Works with xnews and agent via ominimix also.

Agree you must watch the size when using remailers. Even a
simple word doc or pdf might not make it.
