Is there a simple way to clear a email registration from
email_registry.dat?

I tried to sign up a email registration before I put the server
credentials into phpmailer.inc.php. Now when I try it says the email
already exists.

What should I do to clear this out without breaking it?

The phpmailer and registration works fine now even with the jammed up
attempt. But I can't finish registering that one user.

It's ok to just delete email_registry.dat. It will be created again the
next time a registration attempt occurs.

The reason this file exists is to keep someone from sending a whole bunch
if verification emails to the same user (spam target).
