A 'Section' in Rslight is the links near the top of the page such as 'Rocksolid', such that when you click on them, and specific list of newsgroups are listed. Click on a different Section and see different groups.

Adding Sections to the web interface of Rslight is not difficult, but the steps are not obvious. This process requires several steps per Section.

There are are a total of three steps to add a Section (default dirs will be used here, and 'section' will be used for new Section name):

1. Create web directory and populate with scripts
a. Switch to your web directory and create Section dir:
cd /var/www/html
mkdir section
cd section
b. Now create symlinks in new dir:
ln -s ../rocksolid/* .

2. Create configuration directory and groups list:
a. cd /etc/rslight
b. mkdir section
c. <editor_of_choice> section/groups.txt
List groups for this section in this file, one per line.

3. Add Section to menu:
a. <editor_of_choice> /etc/rslight/menu.conf
b. Add section in file where you'd like it to appear on screen (top to bottom is left to right)
section:1:1

There are ways to create a specific config file (version of rslight.inc.php per Section). For now, post in rocksolid.nodes.help for help with this if you would like to do so. By default, it will simply use rslight.inc.php for each Section.
