Serie A had teams in all three finals in 1988-89, going two out of three: Milan beat Steaua in EC1, Samp lost to Barca(?) in EC2, Napoli beat Stuttgart in EC3.

They then had four teams in the finals in 1989-90, this time completing the treble: Milan over Benfica (EC1), Samp over Anderlecht (EC2), Juve over Fiorentina (EC3)

Serie A again had representatives in all three finals in 1992-1993: Milan lost to Marseille (EC1), Parma beat Antwerp (EC2), Juve beat Dortmund (EC3)

Spain did the double a number of times in the last 20 years

What I also find interesting is that Fiorentina, of all teams, are now the first and only team
to have reached the final of every season-long UEFA competition (Roma are missing the CWC).

I don't think that's ever happened either has it? Would it be 1984 you're thinking of? Britain had teams in 2 finals that year and losing semi-finalists in the Cup Winners Cup.

Out of curiosity are you counting UEFA Cup and Fairs cup as one entity?
(Not that it necessarily makes a difference, as I have not looked)

Personally, I wouldn't classify the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup/UEFA
Cup/Europa League as one legacy tournament... UEFA did not run the
Fairs Cup or consider its tournament records as part of their
competition history. So for me, the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup should be
classified as a separate entity.
