The trouble with national team tournaments is they've played far fewer games in the group, so the League table isn't such a reliable indicator of how good the teams are, so that makes them harder to predict.

We should introduce a new rule: "if the home player forgets to make a pick, the away player can pick two teams, and the outcome of the UPT match will be the best of the two outcomes from the perspective of the away player. The "best" outcome will be determined by points, goal difference, and goals scored, in this order. In case of identical outcome in the two matches, the UPT match will be determined by the away player's first listed team."

And of course we should do the same for non-picking away players.

I really like this rule, I think I am going to make it effective immediately!

Well at least both teams I picked won. Though it looks like you got the
home team mixed up in the African match. The GD is the same for both as

So I picked 4 teams last week, including picking Norway by conciously deciding not to pick Scotland, and 3 of the 4 lost! Fortunately it was the 1 I got right that counted.

BTW I noticed Jesus didn't pick. Did me picking "for him" confuse him?
