Any coach that you nominated and gets sacked (or resigns, voluntarily or not) before December 31, you get the points, BUT there is a twist!

- A coach sacked by a team participating in this year's Champions League group stage: your points are multiplied by 3

- A coach sacked by a team participating in this year's Europa League or Conference League group stage: your points are multiplied by 2

- Any other team: your points are multiplied by 1

Deadline: Friday September 15.

I really don't want to go full Mark here, but Ligue 1 has currently fallen out of the Top 5 in the UEFA ranking, and it might well stay that way
until the end of the season which would mean that the extra spot in the re-vamped Champions League that the French lobbied so hard for

I'm also waiting. There won't be any further league matches until the deadline (OK, there will be some Friday matches...), so it's likely that any sackings should have happened already.

Possibly!

Sevilla were bottom of La Liga when I looked... so that seemed a
reasonable pick.

Cologne were losing matches and near the bottom of the Bundesliga when I
looked... I just got the wrong manager when I searched for it. <face

OK, let' go for it. Just a few years ago picking the Cagliari or Genoa coaches would have been a no-brainer, but now they are both under new management, which is not necessarily as trigger happy as the old one. Plus, Ranieri (yes, that Ranieri) has just been named a Cagliari honorary citizen, he has already declared that this will be his last coaching job...will they really have the courage to sack him?

Lyon is apparently considering Gattuso and Lampard as successors to Blanc. Both of those would be strong candidates for the sack, but I'm afraid you have to name a name, so until one of them is officially appointed they can't be in the list. Maybe I'll leave one point as a a placeholder until the deadline?
