What to do

Look at the fixtures below: do you play home or away? In any case:
remember that it's single-leg, and a draw qualifies the team with the X
on its side.

*Home*
- Before Wednesday 2023-09-27, 23:59 GMT
- Pick one team from each of the two matches.

*Away*
- After Wednesday (or even sooner, if the home player has picked his
teams) and before kickoff of the first match
- Pick one of the teams not picked by your opponent (if he hasn't picked
any team, you have free choice)
- Their opponents will represent your opponent

*ATTENTION: NEW RULE*: If the away player doesn't pick any team before his/her deadline, the home player will be represented by the team that achieves the best outcome out of his/her two picked teams.
If the home player doesn't pick any team before his deadline, the away player can pick two teams (one from each match), and he/she will be represented by the team that achieves the best outcome out of his/her two picked teams.. If nobody picks a team, teams are assigned randomly.)

No, really, I pick Real Madrid and Bayern. Those are the matches.What did you expect, that I would change the matches to Celta Vigo-Getafe and Augsburg-Darmstadt? What's even the point of being the gamemaster if you can't rig the schedule in your favor for a repechage game?

I think I'm actually doing you a favor: if you lose, you can always complain that you were cheated out of the chance to make the third place match. If you win, it will be a glorious victory against all odds, something to add to the milivella-Futbolmerix rivalry pantheon. You should be thanking me for this.

Last Sunday's (8/10) Neustrelitz - Makkabi Berlin match was cancelled as Makkabi wasn't currently focusing on sports. On Wednesday it was announced that Makkabi Berlin was suspending playing and training, due to security concerns.
However that turned out to be premature. On Thursday Makkabi made an offcial statement that as a "muticultural club with both Jewish and Muslim members, their continued operation is sign for tolerance and peaceful coexistence".

And so Makkabi played in the 4th round of the Berlin cup today.
