The captcha thing hasn't stopped the spam then! I thought for a while it was reducing it, but apparently not.

So I thought I'd start a new football thread to push the spam out of sight quicker.

Obviously CONMEBOL is the rockingest confederation. It's got the most competitive League Championships.

It's also got the fewest League Championships. Logic dictates that among 55 different leagues
you'll find more streaks than among 10.

Also, how does this square with your regular disdain for the English Premiership?
The longest championship streak there is 3 (which Man City could extend this year).

Could and should... Arsenal being top (once again) shouldn't provide
much of a challenge after what happened last year.

But yeah, only three consecutive English league titles in a league
competition that [originally] commenced in 1888 is VERY
competitive... and beats the 6 of those South American leagues that
Mark loves so much.
