I have to admit I don't love it. As expected, making Pot 2 as best runner-up
has proved to be more of a curse than a blessing. The only Pot 2 team that

It does look a tough draw for Austria, my condolences.

Group F is odd in that but for the absence of Switzerland it’s identical to Group A from Euro 2008.

Talking of odd, BBC had the Wales manager interviewed talking about “our group “ even though they haven’t yet qualified.

I suppose a certain amount of time is required to allow fans to book flights, hotels and tickets, but yes, nothing more underwhelming than seeing “Playoff Winner B” among the list of contenders.

Also I never understand why they draw the Pot 1 teams first, wouldn’t it make better viewing if they drew the pot 4 first and built up to the pot 1 teams?

The 3 Nations League qualifiers will be found in late March. No reason
to keep the other 21 nations in the dark about where they'll play that
late.
